Conversations between Adam and Eve
must have been dull at times because they had nobody to talk about.
Baseball is talked about a great deal in the Bible; in the big inning,
Eve stole first, Adam stole second, Gideon rattled the pitchers,
Goliath was put out by David and the Prodigal Son made a home run.
A minister preached a very short
sermon. He explained, “My
dog got into my office and chewed up some of my notes.” At the close of the
service, a visitor asked, “if your dog ever has pups, please let my
pastor have one of them.”

Alleluia!
Christ is Risen! We are in the midst of a glorious and memorable Easter
season at
Christ Church. Our numbers continue to grow, defying all odds, and our
children never cease to inspire and amaze me. I see many new faces
serving at the altar, and others joining new or existing
ministries. Great things have happened here, but there is so
much more we can do and
be. Do you have hopes and
dreams about our future at
Christ Church? Do you have a “wish list” of the things you’d like to
see? Rev. Cassandra and I each have one, and we add more to it all the
time!
