Senior Moments

Alleluia! Christ is Risen! We are in the midst of a glorious and memorable Easter season at Christ Church. Our numbers continue to grow, defying all odds, and our children never cease to inspire and amaze me. I see many new faces serving at the altar, and others joining
new or existing ministries. Great things have happened here, but there is so much more we can do and be. Do you have hopes and dreams about our future at Christ Church? Do you
have a “wish list” of the things you’d like to see? Rev. Cassandra and I each have one, and we add more to it all the time!

Our Christ Church Tshirts say “With God, nothing is impossible”. and I truly believe that. But we can’t sit back under a shade tree, sipping a cool drink, and expect God to do everything for us.
If we want those wish lists to become reality, we must commit ourselves and our resources to support God’s work in this parish. Each and every talent, hour and dollar shared is a precious gift to us and to God.

This August will mark 135 years since Christ Chapel, Clinton came into existence. Let us remember all those who came before - who have left a part of themselves inextricably intertwined with Christ Church. We may not know all their names or faces, but we enjoy the legacy they left behind. We are here because of their dedication to fulfill their vision for
this church. It is our privilege and our responsibility to see that Christ Church is here for future generations
